Pulnovo Medical Completes First Three Commercial PADN Procedures at Al Qassimi Hospital, Sharjah

Shanghai, China – April, 2025 – Pulnovo Medical, a globally recognized pioneer in medical devices for pulmonary hypertension (PH) and heart failure (HF), is proudly to announce the successful completion of the first three global commercial procedures using its Pulmonary Artery Denervation (PADN) system. The procedures were performed at Al Qassimi Hospital in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, marking a key milestone in Pulnovo Medical’s accelerating global commercialization efforts following its recent CE-MDR certification.


Under the guidance of Prof. Hang Zhang from Nanjing First Hospital, three patients with severe pulmonary arterial hypertension underwent successful PADN procedures performed by Prof. Arif Al Nooryani and the interventional cardiology team at Al Qassimi Hospital. The operations were completed smoothly, with clear improvements observed in both symptoms and hemodynamic indicators, marking the first real-world commercial use of the PADN system in an international clinical setting.The procedures also drew national media attention, with UAE National TV conducting on-site coverage and interviews.
